What did it feel like, I wondered, to love someone that much? So much that you couldn’t even control yourself when they came close, as if you might break free of whatever was holding you and throw yourself at them with enough force to easily overwhelm you both.

My Stance
Have i ever been in love? Who knows. All i know is that love makes you weak and vulnerable. Sure, it’s great too. It can make you happy, smile, believe, but when that’s gone, all you’re left with is heart ache. They say its better to have loved and lost, than to never have loved at all. Well, i don’t think so. if you had never loved, you would never have hurt. In the moment it feels like its all worth it; like no matter what, you’ll always have that feeling. but truth is, if you had never been in that position then you could have continued going on in your merry way. After all, it is also said that ignorance is bliss. So there you have it, I think love sucks. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not because i’m some bitter old broad who nobody could ever love, as a matter of fact i am totally capable of love. i love my family, and friends, but i don’t think i could believe in being “in love”.

Well, let’s just start off by saying that I guess I am somewhat of a love cynic. What is love? Does it exist? Through this blog I will explore different questions and just my thoughts on love. Now, I’ve watched enough romcom’s to know that I will most likely fall in love, and end up believing in it or what not. So, for the mean time, I will try to uncover what it is. I will be sharing different things related to love, and not all of them will be good- some may even go against believing in love. Who knows. This is just a sort of research experiment or something of the sort xD
